Lent is almost upon us! We end Ordinary time with a Pancake Party on 28 February in the Parish hall in Mill End. The evening is open to all and will include some input about how we might get the most out of Lent.
The holy season begins the following day on Ash Wednesday. There are 2 services on that day both of which will include the imposition of ashes.
There will also be 3 Lent study groups meeting using material focussing on the four themes of generosity, joy, imagination and courage:
Monday evenings in Mill End
Wednesday lunchtimes after a bowl of soup in the Parish Hall
Friday mornings in Heronsgate.
Full details of timings and venues for these are available from the Parish Office (01923772785)
